Oklahoma City, 2013

September 4, 2013

At the beginning of the summer, a suburb of Oklahoma City was leveled by a series of severe tornadoes. Schools and homes were destroyed and dangerous flooding caused further damage. Hundreds of people were injured and many others were killed. Those people who are left to rebuild are greatly in need! Not only are they in need of comfort and prayers, but their physical needs are many as well. Williamston, Michigan Free Methodist Church (WFMC) will be sending a team during the last week of September to help these people try to repair some of the damage to their houses. The picture is just one example of the devastation suffered from the Tornadoes.

I will be joining the team and will have updates of the projects that we will work on and how, through Gods help we are able to do a small part in helping some people get back into their homes before winter. We ask your prayers as we depart in late September.

Thank You.
