Zambia, Part Four

April 12, 2012

Well It’s back to work on the Central Africa Training Center outside Lusaka, Zambia. There is a local contractor doing the cement work. The section of the building that we are working on is all cement block walls, some of the walls have been given a fine coat of mortar to finish them. Some of the rooms have the walls finished but most are not done yet, so we are working with the contractor’s people who are finishing the walls.

Getting Sand for the Mortar

Applying the Mortar to the Walls

While the local construction crew was working on the mortar some of the work and witness crews continued the clean up process left over from the block layers.

Cleaning up the mess

Rest room facilities were provided for the work crew while we were on the work site. We were pleased to see these as many remote places do not have such nice facilities.
